Yossi and Jagger is probably one of the romantic films that I really liked.
It has only a duration of an hour but it possesses this quality in films that say a lot more.
I love the subtlety of love because they never said “I love you” to each other. And that’s exactly it: there is an understanding of mutual feeling and passion because love itself, its nature is subtle. I love how it hints love.
For a film it has a short duration but it has that deliberate yet sudden impact that will stay with you for days.
And I think that’s how a romantic film should be.
